Vertical Description of RCC Water Tank 

1. Foundation/Base Slab:

   • Thickness: 150300 mm depending on the size and capacity.

   • May include waterproofing additives.

   • Slight slope towards the drain outlet to assist in cleaning and water flow.

2. Drain Outlet:

   • Located at the bottom center or side of the tank.

   • Fitted with PVC or stainless-steel piping and a valve.

   • Allows for easy water exchange and removal of sludge or waste.

3. Tank Walls (Vertical Structure):

   • Made of RCC with vertical reinforcement bars and horizontal stirrups.

   • Thickness: 100200 mm depending on tank diameter/height.

   • Interior is often plastered and finished with food-grade waterproofing or epoxy coating.

   • Circular tanks are preferred for water circulation and fish movement.

4. Inlet Pipe:

   • Positioned 150300 mm below the top rim.
